The Great Outdoors

Spend a great weekend in Jasper a couple weekends back.  It was wonderful to breathe in the fresh mountain air with my model friends.

 It is always exciting to plan a trip!  Even more exciting is having someone who knows where they are going to show you around.  A couple years back my parents biked around Holland, this year my Mom will be showing my sister and I around.  I can't not wait!

It is always good to get out of the City and visit another City! One thing that I miss living in Saskatoon compared to when I lived in Winnipeg is the Parliament Buildings. Last weekend we took a morning walk by the the Edmonton Parliament buildings and along the river.

It looks like winter could be almost over in Saskatchewan...at least we got to go snowshoeing that one time! 

Handmade Photo Book

I haven't been updating the blog as much as I like because I have been busy working on some handmade projects - with photos!  I made this names and faces book for my nephew's birthday.  He loves books and I want him to learn all the names of every family member even though some live far away.  I printed of a photo of everyone in black in white and then printed there name on a colourful background that suited each person.  I am so glad it turned out!

My Birthday Buddy

My Nephew and I had a great joint birthday party last weekend!   It was fun to have someone to help me blow out the candles and eat all the cake!  Can't wait till next year!
